The sustainable solution for food packaging

When food and packaging come together, quality, hygiene and safety play a major role: especially when it comes to packaging with foreseeable direct food contact. In order to meet the various requirements of the food industry, the papers should be able to be coated directly in the paper machine. The more print options, the higher the quality of the coating.


This is where our products are used: WDS 560.T.20 / WDS 590.K / WDS 580.23


New requirements due to the packaging regulation


The new Packaging Regulation will come into force in 2022. This means that fluorine compounds and silicone coatings are no longer permitted in food packaging. As a result, the costs for plastic films in the packaging sector will increase significantly.

    WDS 560.T.20 has the following properties:

    • Release

    • Heat sealable

    • Permeation Air

    • MVTR vapor barrier

    • KITT

    • Cobb

    • OTR oxygen

    • 98-99% recyclable

    • Aerobic biodegradability


    Our WDS 560.T.20 can therefore be used for drinking cup / wrap bag packaging and

    liquid packaging.


  • WDS 590.K - Heat sealable application solution

    WDS 590.K has the following properties:

    • Heat sealable

    • Permeation Air

    • MVTR vapor barrier (5-8)

    • KITT

    • Cobb


    Our WDS 590.K can be used for pouch and dry packaging.



  • WDS 580.23 - coating for paper machines

    Coating for paper machines with filler content, for matt surfaces.


    WDS 580.23 has the following properties:


    • Release

    • Permeation Air

    • MVTR vapor barrier

    • KITT

    • Cobb

    • OTR oxygen

    • 98-99% recyclable

    • Aerobic biodegradability


    Our WDS 580.23 can be used for label printing.


  • WDS 22120 - Laminating adhesive for bonding

    Good properties for lamination and composite paper – brown cover paper or parchment papers.


    Special bag packaging bottom and top closures (inline production)

    Feature – resealable after opening the packaging.
